May I draw your attention to the two new forms.
The first form is the Rally Rally Plaque ordering form for 2012. The parameters have been set, as this year, for you to order for weekend plaques only via our supplier & on the enclosed form. He is most helpful & does his best to meet our needs when given time to produce an order as stated on the form.
At the moment I am unaware of any cost rises on the plaques for 2012 & I will inform you as & when. Rest assured that if these costs become uncompetitive I will look elsewhere!
The second from is the Rally Income & Expenditure Form for 2012. As those of you know who attended the AGM there has been cost increases in two areas in order to maintain the upkeep of the Centre. First one is the administration charge is now £10 per rally. The second increase is to the surplus per van per night of 35p(70p total) for a 2 night ordinary weekend rally & pro rata for long weekend & holiday rallies.
A couple of other points I feel I must highlight that have occurred over the period I have been doing the Treasurer's job. I have received envelopes with the documentation, receipts & cheque that have come open. The trend for these type of "easy open" envelopes seems to have grown with what appears to be some possibility of mishaps in transit! Fortunately this has not occurred, however I think it may only be a matter of time.Given that I use these envelopes, I usually put a strip of sellotape along the back when the envelope begins to "expand".
Furthermore, when returning your cheque to me with you receipts etc., could you please ensure all the details on the cheque are correct. An incorrect or returned cheque from the bank can cost the Centre money.
Should any of you have any difficulties with costing or filling in the return form, VAT, etc. please do not hesitate to contact me.
Finally, whilst I will see some of you over the coming season, may I take this opportunity to wish you & yours "All the Best" over the coming season.
