Chairman’s Message October 2023.
Fellow members of the South Lancashire Centre, thank you for allowing me to be your Chairman for the coming year. To Roger and Susan for their sterling work over the last 3 years keeping the centre moving in the right direction even when a pandemic threatened to derail everyone.
To the committee members who have stepped up to help organise the centre for the coming year and to those who served last year, thank you. We need more volunteers to join us and help in the organisation of weekends. If you feel you can help, contact myself or any of the committee.
I intend to update this message early in the New Year so that you are all kept in the picture as to what is happening in the Centre so keep looking.
The 2024 programme is well on its way to being completed and should be on the website shortly, also look out for adverts and news on the Facebook page. The first outing in the New Year being the pantomime rally in Victoria Park, Southport. This is closely followed by our Dinner Dance at the Garstang Country Club, you can either bring your caravan/motorhome or stay in the Hotel, forms are available now on the website, either way come and join in.
I look forward to meeting you over the coming months. In the meantime, if I don’t see you before Christmas have a Merry Christmas and a Happy and prosperous New Year. Happy rallying in 2024.
